The Department of Psychology at The College of Wooster invites applications for two visiting assistant positions starting in the fall of 2017; one 2-year position and one 1-year position. A two-semester load typically consists of 5 regular courses and year-long senior thesis advising, equivalent to a sixth course. Applicants should be able to teach some subset of the following courses: statistics, personality psychology, abnormal psychology, psychology of women and gender, child and adolescent psychology, evolutionary psychology, and attachment. A Ph.D. in Psychology is required, preferably by appointment date. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research are necessary. The College of Wooster enrolls a diverse student body (19% domestic students of color and 10% international students); applicants should demonstrate their ability to work with diverse student populations.
